Every time the jackpot gets up there the New York Lottery's site traffic can spike to hundreds of thousands of hits a day. I'll probably never work on a site with more traffic. We took a year and a half to overhaul the whole site. It's a huge challenge to make a super-usable site for power users while keeping the site light and casino-fun.
