Roc is a huge brand in Europe, but sort of out of mind in the US. Their old site was dated, clunky and covered in drop shadows. I was super happy that our clients were open to flat design and a long-scroll site structure. We really brought the brand a long way.
I designed the site around a very strong, scalable top nav, leaving that the only bold color on the page. The homepage is optimized for an iPad – which serves early adopters plus users with legacy low-monitor resolution laptops. I kept the content all really blocky and scannable throughout the education and product pages and we got hugely positive responses in usability testing. Scroll to the bottom for the before.
